Set up your booking page in about 10 minutes
Chairtime gives you your own booking page so clients can see your services, pick an open time, and put down a deposit — while you manage everything from your phone. Follow the steps below and you’ll be taking bookings today.
- Step 1
Create your account
Tap “Get started” and sign up with your email and a password. Check your inbox for a confirmation email and click the link to verify — you only do this once.
Use an email you check often — booking notifications go here.
- Step 2
Set up your shop
After you log in the first time, you’ll be walked through a quick setup: your shop name, your time zone, and your first staff member (that can be you).
Your time zone makes sure appointment times show correctly for clients.
- Step 3
Add your services
Go to Services and add each thing you offer — a haircut, fade, beard trim, color, etc. For each one set a price and how long it takes. The length is what blocks time on your calendar.
Be realistic with durations — this is how the app prevents double-booking.
- Step 4
Add your staff
Under Staff, add anyone who takes appointments. For each person, choose which services they perform so clients only book them for the right work.
Solo? Just keep the one staff member you created during setup.
- Step 5
Set your hours & time slots
Open Hours to set the days and times you’re open. In Settings you can also choose your “Booking time slots” — for example every 15, 30, or 60 minutes — which controls the start times clients can pick.
Closed on Sundays? Just toggle that day off.
- Step 6
Turn on deposits (optional)
In Settings you can require a deposit to cut down on no-shows. Set a percentage, then let clients pay by Cash App (add your $Cashtag) or by card with Stripe.
Deposits are optional — leave them off if you’d rather not collect any.

Publish & share your link
When you’re ready, flip the Publish switch in Settings. You’ll get a personal booking link like chairtime.app/b/your-shop. Share it in your Instagram bio, texts, and business cards.
Nothing is visible to clients until you publish.
- Step 8
Run your day
The Schedule board shows every appointment by staff member. You can add a walk-in or phone booking with “New appointment,” reschedule anyone by tapping their card, and mark appointments confirmed, done, or paid.
The board is built for your phone — use it right from the chair.
What your clients see
When someone opens your link, they pick a service, choose their barber, see only your open time slots, enter their details, and pay any required deposit. They get a confirmation number, and the appointment lands on your schedule instantly.
